SIE Trade Show, Santiago, Chile - SIE Trade Show, Santiago, Chile

The SIE is a trade show to be held for the second time in Santiago, Chile. It will be held on 8 and 9 September. The venue is Estacion Mapocho, Chile's biggest and best equipped exhibition centre, strategically located in the City centre, next to an underground station. Additionally, the organisers will provide shuttle buses to increase the number of participants.

The show is officially sponsored by the Chilean Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and will be opened by the Minister of Education.  Furthermore, it has the support of several other organisations such as  The  Institute for National Digital Strategy, the National energy commission among others.

The SIE is a general education trade show meaning that products and services on display  fall into all areas of education: products, ICT, books, services such as school management, language training, certification etc.

The show was visited last year by 7,000 people and this year it is expected to increase to at least 10,000 over the two days.
