Trade Mission to the FIP Pharmaceutical Sciences 2010 World Congress November 14th – 18th, 2010
in Association with the AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition
A global opportunity to meet the pharmaceutical industry
This November, for the first time, the International Pharmaceutical Federation's Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress (PSWC) and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists AAPS Annual Meeting will be combined to create a truly global event.
Thousands of scientists will converge on New Orleans to share the latest developments and research programmes at this dynamic international forum in order to improve health through advances in pharmaceutical sciences.
The Welsh Assembly Government will be taking a trade mission to the event – a window of opportunity to meet leading people from industry and academia from across the world.
The coming together of the two events makes this a particularly exciting occasion. Every three to four years, the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) organizes a Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress (PSWC), rotating it between the Americas, Asia, and Europe. And each year, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) organises the AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Bringing together the members of each organization and the constituencies that they represent means that the programming, exposition, and other events will provide maximum educational and networking opportunities. The theme in 2010 is: ‘Improving Global Health Through Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences’.
This gathering presents the opportunity for trade mission members to attend relevant events and to meet new people and existing contacts: IBW can assist by setting up one-to-one meetings and organising networking events.
