  • Having established, through an IBW introduction, a US distributorship with one of the world’s leading suppliers of video surveillance equipment, Norton Integrated Systems of Pontypool have just celebrated another major breakthrough: winning the top award in their category at the annual conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, which represents over 20,000 members in almost 90 different countries.
  • No less than six of the 80 companies on the Washington mission were media businesses – proof, if proof was needed, of the astonishing strength and vibrancy of this sector in Wales.

  • Ellison Sensors of Wrexham has established an exceptional reputation as a world leader in pressure sensor technology - exporting to 26 countries and supplying clients including the US Department of Defense. Now their latest visit to the US as part of the Washington trade mission has opened the door to another potentially valuable new door: NASA.
  • One of the biggest success stories to come out of the Washington Mission so far is CAVE Systems – a company that has pioneered a new space-saving storage system which is already proving a big hit with the US military.
  • Bridgend-based Biotec is busily building on its outstanding growth and export record in the last 18 months. Having just collected the Queen’s Award in the International Trade category, the company is now establishing valuable new business contacts in North America – following a hugely successful trip as part of the Washington mission.
